The working principle of the centrifugal atomizer:
The centrifugal atomizer is a component in the spray drying device that enables the atomized medium to obtain high energy and high speed. It is also a key component affecting atomization efficiency and stability of the atomization process. The motor drives the large gear through the coupling, and the large gear meshes with the small gear on the rotating shaft. The accelerated gear shaft drives the secondary large gear to achieve high-speed rotation of the atomization disk. When the feed liquid enters the feed tube of the Centrifugal Atomizer, the liquid distributor is evenly injected into the high-speed rotating spray plate, and the liquid material is sprayed into tiny atomized droplets, which greatly increases the surface area of the liquid material, contacts the hot air in the drying chamber, and quickly evaporates the water, drying it into a finished product in a very short time.
Structural features of the centrifugal atomizer:
(1) When the feed volume fluctuates, the gear transmission speed is constant and the mechanical efficiency is high;
(2) Using a long cantilever structure, the "automatic centering" effect can be achieved when the main shaft is running, reducing the vibration of the main shaft and atomization disk.
(3) Set up floating bearings so that the flexible shaft can be supported by three fulcrums, allowing the shaft system to quickly cross the critical speed.
(4) The fixed position of the bracket should be arranged reasonably, and the position of the fixed bracket should be arranged at the node position to reduce the vibration load of the shaft system.
Technical features of centrifugal atomizer
The drying speed is fast. After being atomized by the high-speed centrifugal atomizer, the surface area of the material liquid is greatly increased. In the hot air flow, 95%-98% of the water can evaporate instantly, and the drying time is only a few seconds. Especially suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.
This product has good uniformity, fluidity and solubility, high purity and good quality. The production process is simplified and operation control is convenient. Liquids with a moisture content of 40-60% (up to 90% for special materials) can be dried into powdered products at one time. After drying, there is no need for crushing and screening, thereby reducing the production process and improving product purity. By changing the operating conditions within a certain range, the particle size, bulk density and moisture of the product can be adjusted, which is very convenient for control and management.
