Selection and use of centrifugal atomizer

Atomizer is an instrument that converts liquid into micron-sized droplets, so it appears foggy on a macro scale. According to different uses, Centrifugal atomizers can be mainly divided into air humidifiers and medical atomizers, also called atomizers or atomizers. Air humidifiers are used to improve the relative humidity of indoor air, and medical nebulizers are mainly used to treat upper and lower respiratory system diseases.

The atomization power and quality of the centrifugal atomizer will directly affect the effect. You should choose a regular brand and do not use unqualified atomizers. In addition, there are many types of drugs for treating the respiratory tract. Each child’s illness is different, and the dosage, time, and frequency of medication are also different. The doctor will adjust the medicine at any time according to the individual and the condition, so even if you do nebulization at home, you should go to the hospital for regular check-ups. Doctors remind that general atomized drugs are fat-soluble and water-soluble, and all atomized drugs must be used strictly in accordance with the instructions. If the drug instructions do not indicate that it can be used by atomization, parents are not recommended to use it. At the same time, the effectiveness of hypertonic saline nebulization is controversial. Some experts believe that hypertonic saline atomization may cause airway hyperresponsiveness, airway spasm and other adverse reactions, and it is not recommended for parents to use it. In order to avoid side effects, parents should not use medicine without permission.

Things to note when purchasing a centrifugal atomizer: 1. Noise: The noise level of the atomizer is an important indicator of its quality. High noise will affect the patient's bad mood. The noise of most compression atomizers sold on the market is around 80 decibels, while the noise of a good compression atomizer should be within 65 decibels. Noisy machines can generally be felt, and manufacturers will not mark the noise value of the machine. 2. Vibration: Noise is accompanied by vibration. Generally speaking, if the noise is loud, the vibration must be loud. 3. Heating: Along with the noise and vibration above, there is a problem of heating. Machines with loud noise and vibration will inevitably generate more heat. Therefore, the nominal power of a compression atomizer is not as big as possible. Most of the energy of a powerful but noisy machine is wasted. 4. Atomized particles: The size of atomized particles is directly related to the atomization effect. Smaller atomized particles can reach the lower respiratory tract and alveoli. Generally, the specifications provided by manufacturers include labels indicating the size of atomized particles. The labels of atomized particles generally refer to particle size, mean particle diameter (MMAD), mean median diameter (MMD), etc. The size of atomized particles is affected by two factors: the compressor and the atomizer cup. The compressor provides constant pressure air, and the process of the atomization cup determines the size of the excited particles.

Centrifugal atomizerPrecautions for use: 1. Each inhalation time of the air compression atomizer should not exceed 20 minutes, and the inhalation time is not directly proportional to the efficacy; 2. Disinfect the atomizing cup, mask and mouthpiece before use; 3. A quiet and clean operating environment should be selected, and use with caution in flammable environments. The atomizer should be placed on a flat tabletop, not on sloping places such as legs or beds; 4. After each use, clean the items used and place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry.
