Desulfurization wastewater needs solidification treatment after zero discharge processing technology


As the environmental protection standards for power plant wastewater become more and more stringent, coal-fired power plants have also successively launched zero-emission power plant projects. So far, more than 30 power plants have achieved zero-emission power plant projects, and more than a dozen power plants are being built, and countless projects have been approved for feasibility study reports. The current processing technology and operation status of new zero-emission projects are detailed in Table 2.

Types of process technology

China's dry-curing processing technology includes multi-effect evaporation systems, MVR systems, continuous high-temperature bypass smoke evaporation systems (rotating atomization and dual-liquid spray gun technology), multi-effect evaporation and MVR, etc. Different types of dry solidification processing technology have different data preprocessing and extraction and drug reduction. There are mainly three types of technology.

Softening preparation processing

Remove suspended solids, calcium and magnesium strength, etc. from the wastewater, and then use extraction and chemical reduction (such as ultrafiltration membrane, nanofiltration membrane, RO reverse osmosis, high pressure and low pressure RO reverse osmosis, forward osmosis, electrodialysis, etc.), and finally dry and solidify. This line has high usage and operating costs.

Basic preparation processing

Remove suspended solids from wastewater and solidify them. The usage cost of this line is second and the operating cost is low.

No preparation processing

The wastewater is directly extracted and solidified after chemical reduction. The main processing techniques include crystal multi-effect evaporation and ultra-low temperature smoke extraction. The use cost of this process technology is low, followed by operating costs. All curing processes for the first line can be adopted. The curing processes for the second and third processes generally use a rotating atomization system and a dual-liquid spray gun system.

In recent years, various technologies have been developed from preparatory treatment to extraction and drug reduction, and then to drying and solidification. China's zero-emission manufacturers have worked closely with raw coal power plants to carry out a large number of samples, small tests and put into use, and then explored and sorted out the good and bad characteristics of various technologies. It not only replaces and optimizes some technologies, but also creates some new technologies. The following is a summary of this matter.

① Technologies such as forward osmosis have been eliminated; evaporation crystallizers such as MVR consume a lot of steam and electricity, occupy a large area and building area, have relatively high construction and operation and maintenance costs, and require further treatment due to scale and rust on machinery and equipment;

② 2017 was a blowout year for the “softening + membrane concentration” technology. However, after operation, problems emerged and fewer and fewer new projects were started. Key problems include: large changes in the water body; poor softening effect; high cost of softening drugs; difficulty in cleaning the membrane system; short cleaning cycle time and service life; poor load impact resistance and many other problems.
